What's The Buzz

What's The Buzz

What's the Buzz? is a social and emotional literacy skill program created by Mark Le Messurier and Madhavi Nawana Parker. This evidence-based program is now used in more than 130 countries.

What's the Buzz? is offered in 3 age groups, tailored to teach social and problem solving skills that are typically faced at that age range. Starting at 5 years of age, this group is offered up to the teen years with a max of 15 years of age.

The program is aimed to help the way children and adolescents think, the way they solve problems, and help them  to build friendships. They will get to meet children the same age, have fun with activities and play games while they learn!

For Early Learners (Age 5 - 8)

What's the Buzz? for Early Learners is designed to teach various  interpersonal skills. The Early Learners program follows the story and experiences of Archie. They help Archie through activities, discussion, role-play, games, puzzles, and quizzes. It is having fun while learning how to express ones feelings and how to become a more positive problem solver.

For Primary  Students (Age 9 - 11)

What's the Buzz? for Primary students is designed to bring emotional and social awareness to the participants. The Primary Students program follows a character named Archie who faces social and emotional challenges that are typically faced by children in this age range.

For Teenagers (Age 12 - 15)

What's the Buzz? for Teens is designed to help adolescents build a resilient and respectful attitude. The Teens Program is considered a deep social and emotional teaching resource. The participants will review stories about a character named Archie who is facing common emotional and social complexities for this age group.

The programs run for 16 sessions and are offered after school hours. If this program sounds like a fun option to help your child learn valuable life skills then contact our team at Willow Tree!

Private paying and NDIS (Self-managed and Plan-managed) available.
